Stability is the most important factor for a sit to stand desk. A wobbly desk reduces comfort and productivity. Key indicators of a stable desk:

• Net weight A 1200mm desk should weigh at least 57kg. Specifications of 50kg or lower often indicate a lower-quality frame.
• Leg column size Choose legs no smaller than 80mm x 50mm. If suppliers do not disclose leg dimensions, treat with caution.

2 Electronics

Reliable electronics ensure smooth, repeatable height adjustment. Look for:

• Quality testing 100% ageing test and auto fault detection.

3 Weight capacity

Standard ranges are often 720mm to 1200mm, which may not suit shorter or taller users. If you need greater flexibility, choose a desk offering approximately 645mm to 1255mm (including worktop).
