Description

The California Tub Chair is an injection-moulded resin tub chair with a rattan-look seat and back. Its non-metallic frame will not unravel, rust or decay. Legs are reinforced with glass fibre to increase strength and load capacity. Designed for outdoor commercial use, the chair is UV stabilised and weatherproof so it resists fading and brittleness in Australia’s harsh conditions. Lightweight yet robust, it offers a sleek, attractive profile and is simple to maintain — just hose down.

Tubular Components Safety Requirements

• No tubular components with diameter > 7 mm and < 12 mm with a depth > 10 mm
• Tubulars in contact with the floor are closed; holes allowed if < 7 mm or > 12 mm

Shear & Squeeze Points Safety Requirements

• No shear or squeeze points created by loads applied during normal use

• Conforms to requirements of clause 5 of standard EN 581-1
