General safety requirements

• Rounded and chamfered edges on seat, backrest and armrests
• All parts free from burrs, sharp edges and sharp points
• Load-bearing components secured against unintentional release

Tubular components

• No tubular components with diameter between 7 mm and 12 mm having a depth greater than 10 mm
• Tubulars in contact with the floor are closed; permitted holes must be smaller than 7 mm or larger than 12 mm

Shear & squeeze points

• No shear or squeeze points created under normal use
• Conforms to clause 5 requirements of EN 581-1
