5 Things you must consider before buying an ergonomic chair

1. Adjustability: Seat height and arm height should be adjustable as standard. Look for adjustable lumbar support (height and depth), seat tilt and angle, and the ability to adjust seat back width and height for a customised fit.
2. Lumbar support: Proper lower-back support is essential. The lumbar spine has a natural inward curve; without support this flattens and leads to slouching and strain. Choose a chair with height and depth lumbar adjustment to match your lower-back curve.
